We are looking for an enthusiastic trainee to join the Company’s land buying team based at our Head Office in Poole, Dorset. As a successful regional housebuilder for over 40 years, Morrish Homes continue to develop prestigious dwellings and the land team are pivotal in ensuring that the pipeline of projects is always growing.
Working directly with the Senior Land Manager, you will assist in the identification of new land opportunities for residential development. You will support the team during the appraisal process and interact closely with other team members, therefore excellent communication skills are required alongside an ability to engage with all stakeholders. You will need to be well presented, organised, have a great work ethic, be self-motivated, be able to manage your own time effectively and hold a full UK driving licence. As you gain experience throughout the training period, you will gain knowledge of planning procedures and council policies as well as the opportunity to network and build professional relationships.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm with 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays, offers a competitive salary, pension, bonus scheme and a friendly working environment.
Successful regional housebuilder, Morrish Homes, is looking for a driven, ambitious and experienced Technical Co-Ordinator to join the team working flexibly between home, site and office. The successful candidate will have their own projects and be responsible for liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the tender and construction drawings and necessary discharge of conditions in line with the procurement and construction programmes.
You will liaise with the design team, consultants and subcontractors to ensure information is delivered in a timely manner to programme, reporting any risks identified. You will establish close working relationships to ensure the drawing and specification provided to site is accurate. As part of the project team, you will provide the technical expertise and maintain knowledge of changes or updates to legislation and regulation which may affect the design team and site processes.
You will demonstrate a successful track record of delivering the technical aspect of projects and have an understanding of pre-construction activities and modern and traditional construction techniques along with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Successful regional housebuilder, Morrish Homes, is looking for a driven, ambitious and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team based at our Head Office in Poole, Dorset.
The role will involve all aspects of quantity surveying through pre-construction and construction phases including subcontract negotiation, order management, measurement, valuation and managing payment applications through to final accounts. You will provide regular cost and value reports and feedback on commercial matters for the projects allocated to you.
