Dorchester Town Centre is a short walk away with a whole host of high street shops, chain and independent restaurants as well as an Odeon cinema complex. There are museums to explore in the historic County town centre too. For those that prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery, there are a whole host of areas to explore by foot or bike including, to name a few, the world heritage Jurassic coastline which can be accessed a short drive away and Maiden Castle which is on Poundbury’s doorstep. If being beside the seaside is on your ‘to do list’, the seaside town of Weymouth is just a 10 minute drive away, with an array of fun filled activities for all the family, including the Sea Life Centre.
